Midsummer's Fun Run/Walk

7:00 a.m. Midsummer's Fun 2 Mile Walk
7:30 a.m. Midsummer's Fun 5k Run
Registration is $15.00 through June 5, $20.00 after June 5 (price includes t-shirt)

The registration table will be located on the front porch of the Old Mill Museum.
The walk/run begins on Mill Street in front of the Old Mill.

 

"Coming Home to Sweden"

Gate admission:  $8.00 adults (in advance), $10.00 at the gate; kids 10 and under are free
Gate price includes most Saturday park activities, admission to the Old Mill Complex including the Old Mill Museum and Heritage Park, Raising of the Maypole, and the outdoor dance featuring "Mainstreet"

9:00 a.m.  Riverside Park and Old Mill Complex opens

Opening Ceremony
9:30 a.m. featuring the "Swedish Gospel Sound" and Lindsborg's Svenska Vanskapsgruppen

Celebration
9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.  Park features include Swedish folk dancing and music, Swedish foods, first person historical narratives, children's activities, blomkrans making, ethnic crafts, food demonstrations, historical trolley tours, maypole garland making, family dancing, and much, much, more!
(Please note:  The typical park activities will continue until 6 p.m.  Garland making continues, visitors can watch the maypole being wrapped,  food will be available for purchase, and entertainment continues)

Raising of the Maypole
6:30 p.m.  Heritage Park, Swedish dancing and music, family dancing

Outdoor dance*
8:00 p.m.  featuring "Mainstreet" (Riverside Park, east of the tennis courts)

*NOTE:  Admission to the outdoor dance is included in the Saturday gate fee.  If attending only the dance, admission is $5.00 for adults and kids 10 and under are free.
